Furnace when it lights it is loud, what else other than burners or the orfices being plugged could couse this ?

If you have a hot surface ignitor, make sure it is in it's proper position. Sometimes if they get bumped they may lean away from the edge of the gas stream from the side of the burner letting gas build up and ignite in a poof. The same thing goes with standing pilot, make sure the flame is where it needs to be.

I would have your furnace serviced for the heating season by a professional, better safe than sorry, it's worth the 80 bucks to have it cleaned properly.
