I am replacing my Chronotherm III with a Chronotherm IV / Wireless Receiver combo. I need just a bit of help with the wiring if someone can assist.

Here is the old unit wiring:

Here is the new unit wiring diagram

Here is where I am stuck at...

What do I need to do with the O terminal from the old unit? Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Kevin Arnold

Arg! Everywhere I look online for the tech info on this unit says its heat pump compatible. I just don't want to pay someone to come out and say "yup, this won't work!"

** Edit.. looks like I should have bought the W8665E instead.

Granted it is not compatible but you can jumper the O to the Y

In the heat mode you would only run your heat strip. Not very efficient and it might not keep up.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
