I am working on a walk in cooler with the condensing unit on the roof, its a pump down system, with tstat, # control and solomoid. on cold nights the system hols off, when I put my gages in the R22 system pressures are 15 and 150 when I trip the pressure control on. Then after a while, I finally just started to add maybe 1 pound of R22 when the sightglass started bubbling irratic and the system pressures jumped up to 62 and 235, a falty headmaster, never ran into this one before I would just like a few suggestions before my next move .
