Hello, I am replacing my White Rodgers 1F89-211 with a Honeywell RTH7500. I would like some wiring help as the White Rodger did not make use of two wires from my Heat Pump/Air Handler. I have a American Standard Standard 10 Heat Pump with a TWE030C140B Air Handler. Wiring to 1f89 as follows.

Wire Color Contact
Blue C
Red R
Green G
Yellow Y
Orange O/B
White E jumped to W2
Brown taped off
Black taped off

Thank you

The RTH7500 wires in like this RTH7400. It does appear that someone has pulled extra wire. It is possible that those wires are in use at your air handler. Do not use them without confirming this as well as their function, to avoid costly damage to your system.

Set option 170 to 7 and option 190 to 0.

color = new terminal
Blue = C
Red = R & Rc
Green = G
Yellow = Y
Orange = O/B
White = Aux jumped to E
Brown taped off
Black taped off
