To which terminals on the circuit board ( Com,W,Y,R,G ) should be connected the red and white leads of my simple, round Honeywell thermostat? I just got this furnace used from a friend and am installing it (trying...) by self. Or does the unit require a specific tstat?

It is 76 degrees outside down here according to my thermostat.
It is probably a bit colder up north.

Connect Red to R and White to W on your terminal block.
