1st of all i would like to thanks everyone for the great information posted on this site.
I am looking into replacing my 20yrs old clare furnace, narrow down my search to Goodman and Keeprite, have seen alot of negative talk about Goodman so am leaning towards Keeprite, any suggestion and comment regarding the 2 brand and model would be greatly appreciated. PS: Going for a High E. model.
Thanks

Thanks all for your suggestion. I thought Comfortmaker is another name for Keeprite?? here is a link http://icpindexing.mqgroup.com/documents/083000/Tax%20Credit%20Cert%20-%20Comfortmaker%20C9MPV%20C8MPV.pdf
Clare is long gone, out of business. to be specific here is the Model # C9MPV 92% AFUE, Lifetime Heat Exchanger warrenty, 10yrs no Hassle replacement warrenty, 7 yrs Parts Warrenty, RPJ III Heat exchanger Stainless steel Weld Free construction, Variable speed DC Blower, 2 stage operation with self adjusting heat modes, 75000 BTU.
can anyone shed more light regarding direct Vent install as oppose to 2 vent ?? any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Both low end, skip both!
Go with Trane, Carrier, Comfortmaker or Lennox. Any one of these will last better

I would take Lennox over both but I really don't like Keeprite at all.
Be careful sometimes you don't get a second chance
