Static--You're awesome! You ever put a water valve in a Maytag washing machine? The cold was semi frozen, the hot worked fine, now they both won't close. The cycle control dial buzzes a bit but no water control when off or on.(water just keeps running) I think the thing works serial through the W/V. I noticed when operating correctly, no adjutator, no pump out, when valve is open. I ordered a new 4 terminal mix valve (23 bucks), hope that's it.

The valve came over night. Put it in, the machine works better than ever before. The valve I took out said made in Mexico. The new one is almost identical but has a Maytag stamp. I think the original was a bad from the get.
