I just had a gas fired Weil McLain CG Gold furnace installed. The blower motor is loud to me. Is there any way to add baffles or anything to bring the noise level down?

Also, it vents to the outside wall and blows exhaust left and right. Is there some sort of deflector that can be installed to send the exhaust up?

Did the installers take the shipping bracket off?

The venting cannot be altered. The termination kit is specially made by Weil McLain for that boiler and any alterations may cause pressure switch tripping problems. Get the installers to check the blower for shipping bracket/looseness. If you never had a boiler with a ventor then that noise may be normal. It is a NEW sound and people get used to them.

Thanks for the info. I'm positive they took off the shipping bracket and I'm sure I'll get used to the noise. Not anything too loud - but like you said - new to me.
