My HVAC was working fine until recently. When the system turns on (for heat), after a minute or two I hear a buzzing noise coming from the intake vent and the noise continues until the system shuts off. I've replaced the filter with a new one...and still hear the noise. However, when I take the filter out, I hear no noise. The system is only a few years old. The filter does not seem to be an exact fit...but we've been using this size filter for many years...and the HVAC tech did not suggest a different size when he installed the new HVAC system a few year ago.
Thoughts?

What type of filter were you using and what type are you using now. The new filter may be to restrictive.
Be careful sometimes you don't get a second chance

I'm not sure of the brand but it has worked OK in the past....
