I have a weather maker 8000TS carrier unit. I am getting code 34, ignition proving failure. The unit tries 3 times to ignite and then goes to code 14, ignition lockout. I do not think I am getting a signal (power) to the ignitor. During the start-up sequence, the gas valve opens and I can manually light the unit and it will run until the set temp is reached. I have cleaned the flame sensor, and the ignitor rod, but get the same result. Any suggestions on what to check? Or is this a board problem?

Check to see if there is 120V going to the ignitor. The ignitor could be bad, or the board could be bad.
Or unplug the ignitor and test it for continuity.
