I have a Carrier Furnace Model 58STA/58STX, and I purchased a Honeywell Humidity control Model H1008A,D. I have installed everything, to design. However I get water to the humidifier even when the unit is turned off and makes no difference the selection of waterflow. Power is to the humidifier however I know it can not be correct, because it says it is in standby at all times. Test mode shows unit is working. The water flow is during fan and furnace cycle. Honeywell unit is 24V. with a trans. off the furnce. There is nothing wrong with the humidifier, I have used 2 with the same problem each time. I know this is a hookup problem, but I am lost.
