We recently bought a new house that has a two stage heat pump and a Bryant digital thermostat. The unit works fine except when the thermostat "kicks in" im makes a loud clicking noise. That normally would not be a problem except that the thermostat is located about 4 feet from the bed in our bedroom. The clicking wakes us every night. While I understand this noise is normal with this thermostat, I want to replace the unit with a quiet one. Our HVAC professional recommended the Honeywell digital programable but when he arrived to install it, it too make an equally loud click.
Any suggestions?
