Hey all.

My furnace is working well, but just one problem. whatever I switch Fan switch on thermostat to ON or Auto, the Blower is always working, never stop. (if the switch is at Auto position, when burner is not working, the blower is not working too, right?). I checked the furnace, the statuse light on control borad, was flashing rapidly. Do I have to buy a new PCB?

Any info will be very appreciated and thank in advance.

Constant blower operation caused by three things:

1) Stuck blower relay on pcb
2) Defective thrmostat (Can be checked at furnace) 24v between G & C in the auto/off postion means bad stat or #3
3) Short in control wiring between R & G

Turn power off at furnace. Unwire control wiring from furnace control board and then turn power back on. There may be a blower delay (45-90 sec) but if it continues to run. Then you probably have a stuck relay. If not, then its in your t-stat or wiring.

Hope this helps. My crystal ball is broken.

First, thanks a lot for your reply.
1)Yea, I used to think about relay stuck, but I could not find which relay is.
2)I have checked the volt between G (green) and C ( is this ground ? I did not find C ), it's 0.
3)I could not find any "short" spot between R & g
Bye the way, even I turn the system off on the thrmostat, the blower is still working. is it strange ?

The blower relay is on the PCB which is where your control wires are connected. You can't check the relay, only the blower tap outputs. Sounds like a bad PCB. Constatnt blower operation is not a bad thing.

Still the same situation. Even when I turn the system off, the blower is still working.

yea, I removed all 3 wires(from stat, red, green, white) from teminals on the control board, the fan was still running. It means the fan relay is stuck, right? ha, finally. Thanks all you guys so much.
