my older york heatpump with controller 031-00832 was locked out and flashing 4 times. read online means "output temp below 90deg for 1 hour". shut down and resarted unit. freon pipe to inside coil is at about 105deg. light still flashing on controller. any ideas why this happened. any sensors i should check and how. thanks

I'm assuming that you turned off power at the breaker to the air handler before restarting? That will reset the flash code.
If it starts back up with the compressor running, the larger copper line feeling hot, and you get another 4 flash, I would start by ohming out the discharge sensor in the outdoor unit for either a faulty reading, or reading to ground.
