My old system is a Janitrol HPT 18-60 with the wires as follows:
R-Red Y-Yellow G-Green O-Orange W2 - Blue C - Black E - White
Well, the last three are from memory because I already disconnected it. Anyways, now I am trying to configure a Hunter programmable thermostat, Model 44360 but cannot figure out the wiring. Their labeling is as follows
RH, R, VR or 4 RC, VC G or F (fan) Y, C, or M (air compressor) or O Reversing Valve operating in cool mode. W or H (Heating) Y1 - Heat pump compressor.
So what I think I have figured out is RED - RH GREEN - G YELLOW - Y/O WHITE - W/B
but I don't know what to do with the blue and orange. It says not to connect the "common" wire, which I believe is my black. There is a jumper from RH to RC but states to remove if using a 5 wire system, I have a 7 and no diagram for that!!
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
