I am putting a 1600 square ft basement under a mobile home. I will be useing 2" ridged foam insulation under the slab and r19 insulation over the walls of basement. The underside of the mobile home is insulated very well although I don't have the specs handy. At this time I am only interested in finding out if a electric boiler would be feasable to heat the basement only. Natural gas is not an option. My electric rates are $0.079 per kwh for First 400 kwhs per billing period
$0.058 per kwh for Next 1400 kwhs per billing period
$0.042 per kwh for Over 1800 kwhs per billing period
I was looking at the Electro and Seisco boilers. Which of those two would you recommend or would you recomend a different brand? Thanks Ed
