I have a 10 year old Nordine heat pump, when the climatic humidity is high in winter times, The out side unit becomes frosty. Fan blades accumulate ice and turn imbalanced. However, other heat pumps in our neighborhood do not frost. Please advise.

Sounds like you have a faulty defrost timer board or defrost sensor
