Hello All,

I'm considering purchasing some HVACR equipment and from what I've read so far, there are tools that require oil in their use and those that are 'oil less'. I'm particularly interested in a vacuum pump and a refrigerant recovery tool. It seems that the oil less might have an advantage in labor, cost , and time in not having to change oil frequently. And it seems that using oil less recovery may be more efficient timewise when working with different refrigerants.

Any comments/suggestions/ recommendations would be appreciated.

oilless recovery machines generally weigh less, something you'll appreciate about the third time you have to carry it up on a roof the same day. Ritchie(TM) platinum series vacuum pumps weigh less than the competitors, and deliver the goods.
