I have an amana 80sse. The thermostat lost its led when it got a static electric shock. It will turn on if we put it to Automatic but will not turn off. I turned on and off the power to it but still no luck. I have also changed the thermostat for a brand new one model Honeywell RTH230B. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated
