I have a bryant 395 cav042091 furnace that wont run. thermostat calls for heat, main blower runs, draft inducer motor starts but quits running within a few seconds. I have done the component test and blower, draft motor, and hot surface ignitor all seem to work properly.

The pressure switch got upgraded about three times, but it sounds like you are going to be upgrading the board. Check the heat exchanger first, cause the board is a ces expensive puppy.

Sounds like a pressure switch is stuck closed. It should be in a normally open position, then close when the ventor motor starts.

is the unit flashing any codes?
try cycling the power off for 5 seconds then back on and see if the problem goes away.
