Quick Question:
I have an old York Guard unit (18 y old). One of the two heating elements burned out – I am looking for a replacement: Heat Strip Model # 025 22233C 002. Inside Unit Model # n2ahd10a06a. It’s a 10 KW 10000 watts 240 V, I am thinking 5 KW each. Would anyone know where I can get a replacement / restringing kit ?
Anybody throwing theirs out? I think I am kinda stuck, I tried: York warehouse, Grangers, United, Pierce Phelps – no one has it. United gave me an “equivalent”, it burned out the second it turned on – since the one they gave me was a lot smaller in diameter it probably touched the metal when it started heating up. The mounting brackets were designed to hold a bigger coil.
