I have a rudd uhqa 1215 j. But I only have the inside part. All I want to do with it is heat a 2 car garage. What I need to know is if I can wire it so that the the auxilary heating coils and fan run on either a thermostat or even just a switch?

Yes. Need a transformer to use a t-stat. Terminate R to R C to C G to G and W1,W2, to W1,W2 from t-stat to air handler
