Replacing the compressor is not fixing the problem. 3 compressors in 7yrs, that's not right. Are the service tech, checking for acid, are replacing the liquid line drier, is your condenser dirty. Are you certain that it is an actual compressor failure. You might have to spend a little more money to get to the real problem, or get a second opinion from a reptuable service company.

Cindy, I totally agree with JoJo. I've been installing Goodman units for over 3 years now and have NEVER had an issue with a compressor. (Over 300 units installed). There is a serious issue that would cause multiple compressor failures. It's obvious whomever installed the original system and performed the replacements is overlooking the cause of the failure. Acid, moisture, non-condensibles in the system will destroy a compressor. Also, has anyone bothered to check the voltage? Over or under current will damage compressors as well. If you've been using the same company from day one, it's time to hire someone else. Keep in mind the compressor in your Goodman unit is used in many other manufacturer's units as well, so don't be so quick to bash Goodman. It's the installation and the service (or lack of) that's causing these problems. No doubt about it.
Cars don't run and furnaces don't heat without a little TLC "If you break it I can fix it"
