Hi.
I have a luxaire furnace and I am having a problem. The heat will not come on, I opened it up and the ignitor glows red and then the gas comes on, you then see flames, they last for about 2 mins then they shut off, then I get a red light that keeps blinking 4 times? Any ideas would be appreciated

4 flash is an open high temp limit. Is your blower motor coming on? Is your filter clean?

my filter was really dirty, just changed it. I'm not sure if the blower motor is coming on...but I DO KNOW that even when the furnace turns on with the flames for a minute or 2 I do not feel anything coming out of the vents in the apartment

4 blinks, refer to the troubleshooting manual to tell you what the code means. does the fan turn in the time it fires? check your filter.

filter was VERY dirty, im getting a feeling the fan is not coming on...I do not feel any air coming out of the vents in the apartment

Try turning your fan switch on the thermostat to on to see if the fan will run.
