hello everybody here,in fact im new to air conditioners field,just graduted as a mechanical engineer,and working in a repair company for a/cs,i would like what are the best sites which can be helpful for me to get informations on like: wiring diagrams,PCB schematics,installation reccomendations,service manuals,etc.
thats the best forum ive found and will be in contact always here with you all helpful technicians and engineers and trustful,but i just wanted to know where i can get a manual of a certian brand of air conditioner(carrier,unionaire,etc),and hopefully something free.
my problem now with a carrier a/c,the technician brought the PCB,and i know about electronics,and ive checked it,and its problem,when i shut off the unit i hear the "peep",and the LED keep lighting and not to turn off,and the indoor fan keeps running on the M "meduim" mode,so,when i measured the voltage"220v" i find it on the "meduim" pin of the fan in the control board,and even when click on the "power" button in the remote control,the fan only gives the "low",and "meduim" speeds and not the "high" speed(i mean when changing fan speeds)so,its the pcb,cuase i checked it outside the ac,and thats what happens with it,so,i wanted to know whats really wrong with the pcb.
is it the micro-processor?
cuase i changed the relays,and nothing changed,and transistors,ziners,and regulator ic,all are ok,and the power works very well along all the board,so,my question:-
what u think is wrong with the board?
and where can i find everything about the control and wiring connections in the carrier and unionaire conditioners.

carrier corp has always been proud of their wiring schematics, and in the past I've had to pay for them. they may have changed that practice in the last 5 or so years, since I've all but stopped dealing with them.
I find their commercial equipment for the most part unreliable, and technical support all but non-existant. So I do my best to stear people away from it if at all possible.
In fact, I'm at the point now that if a customer insists on Carrier equipment, I won't even bid the job.
