Late last night I noticed the fan on my furnace would not stop running. I can turn down the desired temp below room temp and I can still hear the fan constantly going. It's been close to 20 hours straight now.
Before calling the heating company, I changed thermostats but the issue persisted. The only way the fan will turn off is when turning off the power breaker to the furnace. Once I flip it back on, the fan starts again right away.
The heating company sent a younger kid over. Didn't seem too sure of himself, but after talking to his boss on the phone they feel the issue is the control board on the furnace. They took the model info down and called a few hours later saying they have no info whatsoever on this type of furnace. They said they went through all their books and can't find the part anywhere. They asked me to go to the condo assoc. and ask, but they know nothing (ofcourse).
#1. Does it sound accurate this is a control board problem?

Where can I find this control board if my local heating company can't?
I dug around a little online and found it may be under one of these names...

I checked and the manual was not passed to me when I bought this place. I checked a few neighbors and they don't have the manuals either. My place is approx. 10-12 years old
It's 40,000 BTU, gas fire furnace.

Are you sure of the age of your home? I thought that company went out of business a while ago.

either way they went bankrupt I am pretty sure but you might be able to find an aftermarket part for it. I have never seen one of them up here.
