Greetings, You have help me thus far. I had them come out and do a cleaning and the pressure test(all was good), yet the furnace still does not kick in for several minutes (up to a hlf hour sometimes) even when the thermostat is set way up. The message below is what they suggest next. I am a bit leery about this type of troubleshooting, and would like your opinion. Don, After talking to Larry, he believes that the spark plug in the combustion chamber may need to be changed if your furnace is cycling like this. This requires a special tool to remove the plug and takes an hour of time. You are looking at a cost of 75.00 for the whole job. Let us know if you would like us to stop. Thanks Todd Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Don C.

Are you able to use a multi meter? If so the next time your furnace doesn't fire up go down and check to see if you have power at W on your terminal board. It's quite possible your thermostat just isn't energizing the board when it should. The price they gave you on the spark plug is a good one and you might want to take them up on it. Unfortunately thats a hard furnace to diagnose without seeing what its doing.
