Bill W., a guy I work with (nobody on this site) has a problem with alcohol. He drinks at work. I used to smell it on him while working. Now he is going to AA meetings, he isn't drinking and he quit the coke. I'm not sure he is a better mechanic at this point, while clean and sober. In fact sometimes his production is way down. I guess it takes a while to recover from addiction.
Is this normal?
