I have 6 wires coming out of the old

R - Put to RC w/jumper
G - to G
Y - to Y
W2 - to Aux w/jumber to E
X1 - to C
B - to O/B

I am getting cool air but the fan is not coming on with heat....I believe only the Aux heat is coming on.

Please help....

0170 to 7 even though i have a cooling system?

It wont let me get to 0190...

Set option 170 to 7
Set option 190 to 1

Houston,

the heat is working great, thanks....but i have not seen or heard the outside fan kick on...should i be worried?

It is normal for heat pumps to go into defrost mode. When this occurs, your reversing valve switches to it's cooling position, the outdoor fan turns off, the compressor runs, and your defrost board energizes the electric heat strip.

That said, capacitors and fan motors can and do fail. Did you monitor it for very long, or pass by and notice the compressor running with no condenser fan.

It came on once when I put in the new thermostat, but I have not seen it come on at all sense then.

When you state that your outdoor fan is not running, are you referring to the entire outdoor unit?

the outside fan came on when i turn the A/C on, but has not kicked on at all with the heat. Is that normal? or did i blow something?
