Our AC is Goodman GPG10 and it is only two years old. It uses LP gas for heating. Last night when we turned the ac on, the fan did not work.( we generally place the fan on auto.)We checked outdoors,the ac seems like working,(judging from the sound) but we can not see any flame coming out and it does not provide any heat. What might be the problem?

Thank you for your reply,Amech. I definetely want to heat the house. Our AC is a Goodman GPG10 single package Gas-Electric heating and cooling unit.We use propane gas for heating.Since we stay at home only at night, we turned the heat off in the daytime to save the energy.When we get home, we turned it on. It worked well before.But last night when we turned the heat on, there is no warm air coming in from the ventor.When we checked outside,The unit is not warm at all, and there is no warm air coming from the hood flue exhaust. I doubt the heating system is working though we can hear the sound from the unit.

I'm completely confused. You turned your AC (Air Conditioning) on and expected to see a flame. Are you sure you don't have a heatpump with gas back-up. Are you trying to heat or cool your home. Clearer information will be helpful.
