I have a Trane Weathertron BAYSTAT240/3AAT80B1A1 thermostat that I want to replace with a HONEYWELL TH8320U1008. I am not sure of the heat pump model. I was told by Honeywell that this thermostat is a contractor installed thermostat. I think I know all of the connections except maybe one or two just want to be sure. I hope someone on the forum have all the connections.
a. Do I need a purple?
b. Where does the tan go on new one?
c. How do I check if I have 2 or 3 heat
and 1 or 2 cooling?

WEATHERTRON BATSTAT240

(R) RED WIRE
(T) TAN or BROWN (hard to tell)
(O) ORANGE WIRE
(G) GREEN WIRE
(Y) YELLOW WIRE
(X2)BLACK WIRE

(F) NO WIRE
THERE IS A JUMPER FROM W TO U

HONEYWELL TH8320

(L) X
(E) X
(AUX)X (W2)
(S1) X (S1)

(RC) X (RC)
(R) X (R)
(W) X (O/B)
(Y) X (Y)
(G) X (G)

THERE IS A JUMPER FROM RC TO R

Thanks in advance.
