I have a White-Rodgers 1F56-301 that I was hoping to change to a Honeywell t8000c (friend gave it to me a few years back and I just never installed it). When I went to make the switch I noticed that the White-Rodgers did not have a wire on the "b" or the "o". The diagram for the Honeywell appears to require a "b" and an "o" wire.

Will this thermostat work or do I need a different type?

Thanks in advance.

Honeywell Thermostats are cadilacs, everything else is a Yugo.

Stick with the White Rogers brand if you can. I get way more tech calls on Honeywell than I do on W/R

Wes,

We bought a Goodman GMH950904CXB from your Hayward branch. Very happy with FAU, price and quoting service as well. Do you know any thing about touring the Goodman Factory? I callled Goodman they said yes, and to contact my Dealer. I am just learnig the business and may enroll in Cal State Hayward's HVAC/R Certicate Program. I am a GC transitioning into HVAC, want to work in the design/sales side of the business. Do you think Geary Pacific might open a North Bay Branch in the future?

The Honeywell T8000C does not require O or B.
I wouldn't have anything but a Honeywell on my house.
