I have the Bryant 383KAV042091 and periodically when I come home it has shut off. (The unit is 7 years old and was in my home when I purchased it a year ago). This only happens about once every 3 months or so, but is weird. It has happened in both Heating and Cooling (summer and winter) seasons. The breaker in my service box never pops, however when I click it off and back on again, the furnance comes back on. Does this sound like an electrical issue, or has someone out there experienced a similar problem with the Bryant model? Thanks in advance.

I charge $50 for a service call, which includes up to the first hour.

What code is the board reading, if the board reads? What number is the board? Doing drop out in both heat and cool cuts out a lot of stuff.

I'm going to have to familiarize myself with reading the board. Apparently if I find it, it will have a numberical value in an LCD format? did not know that, I will have to look. Yes, it cuts out in both Heat and Cool. Thanks.

Your furnace is locking out for some reason. When you turn power off then on you reset the lockout and the furnace will attempt to run again. How does your filter look?

Thanks for the comments. The filter is in good shape. I change it regularly.
