trane heat pump-indoor fan runs continuously {24/7 } in auto mode even if heat & air is switched off.T-stat was changed that did not help unit runs fine otherwise. What could be the cause

You either have a short somewhere in your low voltage wiring or a relay like one of these with contacts that are stuck closed. Do you have a meter?
