I was installing a new thermostat and forgot to shut the power off in the crawlspace and think I blew a fuse. I looked all around for one but found nothing. Can anyone tell me where I may find this. I have an old carrier unit.

Inside the indoor unit, some units did not contain fuses, look for a printed circuit board. If the unit has a circuit board, there should be a 3 or 5 amp automotive type fuse plugged into the circuit board. Like I said, the older Carrier units did not have a fuse installed, you have probably blown the transformer.
