I have a 92 olsen furnace well it would not start so I checked the heat sensor an cleaned it then the silicon carbide igniter an it had abreak in it .
besides not touching the silcone carbide element with your hands is there anything else I should know ?

No touchy, no breaky. These ignitors are fragile so handle with care. That is all.
