I am trying to swap a White-Rodgers thermostat with a Lux Thermostat and am having difficulties converting the wiring schemes, does anyone have experience with these and if so PLEASE HELP?

Did not know Lux is lesser quality. I switched to the Honeywell and am installing now.

the model number of each stat, along with the terminal = color combination of your old stat would help us help you.

white rodgers 1f89-211 to lux tx9000ts Here are the posts along with wire config. c-blue w2-white jumped with black e-black r-red g-green y-yellow o/b-orange

If you are installing the RTH7400 or RTH7500.. option 170 = 7 190 = 0 (unless you have a Rheem, Ruud, or weatherking outside) 240 = 9 (if you have electric heat for secondary heat)

Thanks Houston 204, I would have not even come close to pulling this off if it hadn't been for you. I went to the Honeywell 7400 and programmed just like you said and it is working flawlessly now. Great job.
