I'm trying to switch from the weathertron baystat 239 to a honeywell rth230. I am having problems with the cooling coming on. It seems that its doing the opposite of what it says, when it says its cooling its really pushing out hot air. Then i can turn the cooling off and the fan will just work. I tried switching up the heating and cooling wires but nothing seems to work. HELP!

I took the Baystat 239 off and the wiring is as follows:
0(orange)
X2(black wire connected)
G(green)
Y(yellow)
T(tan)
R(red)
W(white)
U(nothing was connected)
F(nothing was connected)
B(blue)

What wires do i put to which letters on the honeywell rth 230?

Rh-Rc (these two are jumped and i have the red wire to the Rc side)
W-white
Y-yellow
G- green
What am i doing wrong? please help my house is getting hot!!

Your new stat is not compatible with your multistage heatpump.

The RTH3100C is a non programmable stat that is...

The Honeywell RTH7400 and RTH7500 with autochangeover are programmable stats compatible with your system.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.

If you choose the RTH7400 or RTH7500...

Option 170 = 7
option 190 = 0
Your old B is C (common)
Tape off your tan wire.
