I have a question about the Trane XE1000. I was quoted the price of $1000.00 for the purchase and installation of this unit. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of this unit and is this price fair or too high? It will be used to cool a very small office that houses our fire panel. I would also like to mention that here in South Padre Island, we have a SERIOUS problem with corrosion. Can anyone recommend this unit or possibly something else with that in mind?

Sounds like a 10 seer used unit to me. Price seems high for an old unit.
