New to Hvac and I'm still learning. Are there any books out there that show you step by step how to do it (charging, cleaning coils, repairing etc.

e-bay is a great place to get books.I got a good deal this week. 8 new a/c tools just $75.00 shipping included.I look every week for a good deal. Local book stores also have used books. When i was taking my cert. test i went to the local libary they also have lots of information. Hope this helps

Trade school, Union apprenticeship, and lots and lots of on the job training from a seasoned Journeyman thats how you lean the trade. But you can also buy books on E-bay and buy a manifold set online and hang in the window of your truck too.

Jojo, the idea of hanging gages in the window is definately chuckleworthy. I think we need more humor like that on this website. Just remember this: It's OK to laugh as long as it's at someone else's expense!

Books should be provided to you at your trade school. The rest is on the job training.
