I have an old Wesco furnace, model 21.OMC, and the fan relay has gone bad. The relay is an Essex 8049. I need to know what a modern equivalent would be so I can get a replacement. I suspect a Steveco 90-380 would do the trick but I can't find anyone around my area who can tell me anything about the 8049. Does anyone know about that relay?

Thats the old potential relay looking relay. The single pole normally open / single pole normally closed (SPNO/SPNC) that you listed should work. Verify that the coil voltage is 24 volts.
