I have a Bryant HVAC unit in my rental unit. It is model number #394GAN02A050 Serial #4086403536. The guy doing the weedeating severed the thermostadt wire and this shorted out the control board. I will be replacing the control board that had 2 clear realys with a CIB84AA020A. The boards are different. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows how to connect the new board? My email address is dpmooretn@comcast.net if you can send me the the diagram I would appreciate it.

Well this turned out to be something simple. I installed the module that I purchased from Americanhvacparts.com and it did not correct the problem. It was a fusible link on one of the wires for the hi limit switch. When I installed the new control module the air conditioner came on and then immediately turned off. Anyone know why it would have done this? I now have a CI84AA020 that I don't need. I need to determine if its good or not so I can sell it. Thanks.

Have you repaired those wires yet?

Yes. The wires are repaired now. I know better than to try to tackle things like this myself. I actually enjoy the challenge. The "certified" technitian was actually impressed that I replaced the control board myself and did most of the troubleshooting. I used to teach electronics in a past life and I do industrial electronics now so this system is a piece of cake.
