I have a Lennox G20Q3/4E-125-C3 furnace and a Lux TX9000LC programmable thermostat. To help keep the house cool before the AC was installed, the AC blower (black) wire was connected to the blower low-speed terminal (6). This allowed a continuous low-speed blower operation when the thermostat was set to Fan. When the AC was installed, in order to connect AC blower for high speed the AC blower (black) wire was put back onto the blower high-speed terminal (2). As a result both the manual fan and the AC kick the blower speed onto high. I would like to have a continuous blower operate in low speed when there is no call for cooling. Is this possible, and if it is what do I have to do to accomplish this?
Hooray, I found a set of instructions on the cozyparts site to build a continuous low blower kit for a Lennox G20 furnace, I'm happy. http://www.cozyparts.com/Lennox-Parts/forum/lennox_servicing_pdfs/continuous_blower_kit_for_BCC2_and_BCC3.pdf The instructions include a connection where you can switch primary power to an ACC. The instruction's configuration would only switch power to the ACC if the continuous blower is on, however I won't need this connection, but I am left wondering what it might be good for. Any ideas?
