I have a 3 year old Rheem Heat Pump. It is dripping water on the bottom, near the filter. I regularly clean the filter and it's never been too dirty for icing and is not frozen. The unit cools just fine but is leaking water at a pretty steady pace. I have a bucket under it now and 8 hours usage yields about 2 gallons of water. I thought the drain might be clogged but the water is coming out the opposite end of where the drain is located. What do I do?

The drain may be clogged/partially clogged and the water level in the drain pan may be building up and overflowing. Or the coil may not be sloped enough to drain properly. Or you may have a problem with too much air pressure in the plenum causing the drain to not siphon properly. Best to get a tech to check the unit B4 water damages/blows your circuit board/motor etc etc.
