Everything seems to be running except no cooling. Refrigerant lines not warm, and can't hear the liquid moving in the pipes as usual. Lights dim in house about every 30 seconds like something is trying to start. Digital thermostat now has a yellow light just to the right of the usual green light in the middle.

Shut off the breaker and call a pro. That is the compressor trying to start, and suffering from abuse.
