i installed a blower motor on a carrier system (res) it works but the ac does not turn on the old motor had 5 wires and the new has only 4. but the schematic says not all motors use the yellow wire. which the new one does not have. all speeds r connected right . on the board where the yellow supposed to go it says spare and on schematic its says (lo)speed what do i need to do.

Sounds like you're wiring the motor correctly. A four wire motor will have two brown wires to the capacitor, and two wire going to L1 and L2. Verify that you have high voltage to the blower relay/contactor. Verify that you have a demand for fan (low voltage)
