I am replacing my old Honeywell (T8611G2002-9840)with a new Honeywell RTH7400. I thought it would be an easy task, but after wiring it seems the heat comes on in the cool mode (fan works well). The reason I am replacing is the old thermostat is it did not turn the fan on anymore. Attached photos will do a better job in showing the details than me trying to explain (not sure how to attached pictures to this post!). In need to know how to wire correctly the new to get correct operation! Old thermostat terminal designation and wire colors were (where should they go on the new thermostat?): C = Blue, R = Red, G = Green, O/B = Orange, Y1 = Yellow (also has a jumper between Y1 and W1), E = Black, W2 = White.

Thanks alot
Eric

New terminal = wire
C = blue
Rc & R = red
G = green
O/B = orange
Y = yellow
E = black
Aux = white

You must also configure this stat for heat pump operation.
Option 170 = 7
190 = 0
240 = 9
