On my Climatouch thermostat the OBW lead remains at 27.8V permanently regardless of setting including when the thermostat is set to OFF. I also removed the wire from OBW at the thermostat and the output remains at 27.8V The thermostat is used with an American Standard 2 stage gas furnace. Normally OBW on the thermostat is connected to W2 at the furnace and W2 on the thermostat is connected to W1 on the furnace. Has anyone else run into this problem with Climatouch?

Is it configured for heat pump operation?

It is set for air condition, 2 stage gas furnace, also on the next menu, OB energized is set to COOL. This is also the second unit which does the same thing. I exchanged the first one at the dealer. The Y1 and Y2 outputs for the air conditioning work correctly (normally about 1.5V off, 27V on, for first or second stage air conditioning).

Thanks

It is odd that you can set the O/B/W terminal to energize to cool when it should be a standard heating terminal.

I see what you mean though, the video does show that the O/B/W terminal must be configured for heat pump when you set it for air conditioning. (Makes me wonder if this O/B option comes up when you configure it for heatpump)

I will try to locate an installation manual and give this further review.
