Hello, I have a Trane XR13 (cooling)/XR 80(heating system). I have a Trane 401 non-programmable thermostat. I would like to replace the Trane stat with a Lux9000TS. However, I realize the that Trane has a B not C common wire. From the circuit board at the furnace the wire connections ar C(blue), G(green), R (Red), W(white), Y(yellow). Everything matches at the stat except the C(blue) is connected at the B terminal at the stat. Would I not connect the blue wire to the C terminal of the Lux stat or would I tape it off? Thanks in advance for any help.

Connect blue to C as shown in the top diagram.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
