I'm a newbie. Daughter complained of noise in room. Location of noise in wall appears to be refrigerant lines - very noisy. Gotta think these should have been insulated...? Checked pressures to be sure not low causing the noise. Never noticed before the suction fluctuating from 64 to 72 about every 3-4 minutes...? Outside temp about 82. Thoughts ?

THANKS, Jeff

If it has a TXV then that is modulating the pressure and is normal. Noise is liquid freon running thru lines and is normal. Wall would have to be opened up and lines covered with fibreglass pink insulation to quieten them down.
